About this site

Trump Accounts Help is an independent informational website run by an individual. It is not affiliated with the U.S. government, the Treasury Department, or the IRS — and it doesn't pretend to be.

Why it exists

The program's rules are complex and the official documents are hard to read. This site exists to do two things the official sources don't: run the numbers (free calculators with the math shown) and explain it in plain English — what qualifies, what it costs, and what's still unknown.

Method

  • ✓Primary sources: key facts are drawn from U.S. Treasury and IRS guidance on IRC §530A, each labeled with a verification date.
  • ✓Shown work: every calculator discloses its model and assumptions — no black boxes.
  • ✓No guessing: anything the rules haven't settled (FAFSA treatment, final tax rules, the $1,000 claim deadline, Dell ZIP criteria) is marked TBD, not filled in.
  • ✓Corrections: mistakes get fixed and the verification date moves. Finance rules change; this site is maintained, not published once.

I am not a licensed financial advisor, CPA, or tax professional, and nothing here is personalized advice. The calculators are hypothetical illustrations, not predictions. Before making decisions about your family's money, consult a qualified professional and verify key facts at treasury.gov and irs.gov.
